The winning couple will get a vacation to paradise, watched over by a camera crew. Sounds pretty good, right? It's going to be two nights of fun and romance! But before the special starts, "The Bachelor" Chad Johnson reveals why he decided to propose to "The Bachelorette" Kaitlyn Bristowe on the show's finale. After proposing on live TV, Chad reveals why he decided to propose on live television. He explains that he wanted everyone involved in Kaitlyn's journey on The Bachelorette to have the option of watching the proposal unfold. "I had no idea what was going on tonight," said Chad as they prepared for the proposal. Chad says being so public was never a concern. Why would it be? "I could care less about people knowing or seeing what I'm doing privately, or with my own family," he says. "I'm an open book, I've always been." The next day, Kaitlyn confronts Chad about why he proposed on TV instead of in front of her family. She felt like the proposal was personal and that it should be shared with those that are closest to her. She's completely blindsided by the way Chad chose to propose because she never considered that he would do it on television, but she doesn't want to call off their engagement. She's determined to see the proposal through and promises that in the future, she will be with him when he chooses to propose. "I want to be here," says Kaitlyn. "You're not gonna get rid of me," Chad assures Kaitlyn. The following day, Jason Mesnick is standing in for "The Bachelor," and with "Paradise 1982" right around the corner, he can't wait to see what crazy things his bachelor contestants will do when they get there. But when Jason gets a look at Rachel Lindsay and her family on her hometown date, he's stunned. "Her family is flying in from Chicago, that's insane!" says Jason. "They're all really nice people. That's my girl right there," he says of Rachel. The following day, the final three are introduced to the nation live on "Good Morning America." The public hearts them right away, but Rachel tells Ben she doesn't believe she was good enough for him. After watching Kaitlyn's hometown date with her family, Ben realizes they are all winners and he wants to be with them too. Meanwhile, one of the show's producers pulls Jason aside to give him some advice on how to handle Rachel because he has already realized that it is important for their relationship to be authentic. cfa1e77820
